Cormet Testing Systems is a Finnish privately-owned company that designs and manufactures high-quality and state-of-the-art research and measurement devices for corrosion testing purposes. Our clients include companies in energy, steel, oil and gas production, as well as universities globally and VTT in Finland. The devices are manufactured in our own production facilities in Vantaa.

Due to continuous skill development and resource enhancement, we are recruiting a new R&D engineer for ideation, design, assembly, and testing tasks.
R&D ENGINEER
Vantaa
Your main tasks include ideation, electrical design, assembly, and testing of state-of-the-art research and measurement devices, as well as:
- participation in tender preparation
- electrical design
- procurement and calibration of components
- participation in assembly
- device testing
- participation in commissioning and user training
- possible commissioning projects at customer sites
You will receive:

We expect:
- a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering and extensive work experience in the field
- proficiency in Siemens S7 software or similar PLC software
- proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical
- at least 5 years of work experience in electrical, automation, and product development tasks
- fluent written and spoken English, Finnish language knowledge would be an advantage
An advantage (not mandatory) would be:
- technical interest in electronics, electricity, and technology
- practical craftsmanship skills
- electrical work permits
